One of the first things a potential customer will see are the grounds around your business. Create a good first impression with a well cared for and landscaped property. Atlantic Services understands what it takes to keep properties looking their best. The following are some of our fundamental guidelines to the services we provide.

Lawn Care
Any litter will be removed prior to mowing. Turf shall be cut at a height ot 2 to 3 inches, as conditions dictate. Mowing shall be done frequently enough so that no more than one third of the grass blade is removed per cutting. Mowing around structures and parking areas will be done with self-propelled walk behind mowers with grass catchers. String trimming is included.

Tree and Shrub Pruning
Atlantic Services has all the necessary tools and equipment to maintain a wide variety of trees and shrubs. If you like formal hedges or natural looking shrubs and trees we can accomodate you. This work is completed on average 4 times during the season.

Weed and Feed Turf
A licensed chemical applicator will handle all fertilizer and chemical applications. A 7 step program will be implemented to prevent and eliminate weed growth, promote strong and healthy turf grass rooting, and also to ensure a healthy season of green color to your lawn. Five granular fertilizer applications including an insecticide for white grub control and 2 liquid broadleaf herbicide and micro nutrient applications. Atlantic Services uses only premium chemicals and fertilizers in our chemical programs.

Landscape and Mulch Area Maintenance
Double shredded hardwood mulch will be applied at a depth of 3 inches in early Spring. Trees and shrubs will be monitored for insect and disease pressure. Proper maintenance will be performed as needed to include weed removal, insecticide and fertilizer applications, and edging to keep a clean appearance.

Weed Control In Parking Lots and Other Hard Surface Areas
A total vegetation killer will be used to control weeds in parking lot cracks, rock areas, and asphalt areas. This work will be completed on an as needed basis and will be completed throughout all necessary areas.

Spring and Fall Clean Up
This work is to include all maintenance to mulched and landscaped areas. Perennial removal, weeding, tree and shrub fertilizing, leaf removal, and edging of mulch beds and tree rings. Mulch will be added in the early Spring and then cultivated in October.

Tree and Shrub Insect and Disease Protection
A 4 step preventative program will be implemented to protect trees and shrubs from disease and insect damage. Constant monitoring will be done to ensure that any necessary applications outside of the program will be completed on time and your trees and shrubs stay healthy.
